Brown Announces More Than $2.5m In New Federal Funds To Improve Conditions At 13 Ohio Airports

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced today that $2,504,833 in new federal funding has been awarded to 13 airports in Ohio by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration. The federal funds will be used for important projects that include runway improvements, guidance system installations, and lighting upgrades.
“These funds will help make needed improvements to Ohio airports,” Brown said. “This will ensure safe travel for area residents, create jobs, and promote economic development.”
